A beautiful area and I did really enjoy some of the walks we went on while there (especially the suspension bridge walk!), but found the Airwalk to be !extremely!overpriced. If I had my time again there’s no way in hell I would 1. drive so far out of my way for it, or 2. pay that much for the privilege to view mostly burnt trees. If you’re keen on seeing some actually gigantic trees I’d recommend the ‘tall trees walk’ At Mount Field National Park, it’s free and it will blow you away.

Loved this place. Spent three hours around and had so much fun! 2 swing bridges and one air walk and a short walk stopped for coffee and scones! Worth visiting.

Raging Thunder - Tully River Rafting
I recently had an incredible experience with Raging Thunder Rafting on the Tully River and I cannot recommend them enough. From start to finish, the staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Our guides, Izzy and Kris, were absolutely fantastic and made the experience even more enjoyable with their expertise and humor. The Tully River itself was breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable adventure. The rapids were thrilling but not overwhelming, making it the perfect level of excitement for all experience levels. One thing I highly recommend is purchasing the photos they offer. They are definitely worth the money and provide a great way to relive the amazing memories you made on the river.Overall, I had an amazing time with Raging Thunder Rafting on the Tully River and I would recommend them to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure in the beautiful Australian outdoors. Thank you to the entire Raging Thunder team for such an incredible experience!

Excellent, I read a few reviews on here where people moaned about the cost, ignore them. Given the remote location and what's on offer it's great value. Stunning scenery, friendly & attentive staff with a great cafe. I would highly recommend a visit

KING RIVER RAFTING
King River Rafting and Steam Experience was one of our favourite experiences of our recent trip to Tasmania and we had LOTS of great experiences!! My husband and I had never done rafting like this but under the expert tutelage of Ben (Canadian) and the other guides, it was totally fun and informative. A unique way to experience the Tassie wilderness and learn about the lives and hardships of the earliest settlers to survive here. Put it on yr bucket list.

Beautiful place to visit, even if you don't want to do the sky walk. The staff were happy and friendly and more than willing to help. The coffee and food was first class for a tourist destination. All the buildings are new looking, clean and hygienic. All in all a great experience. The only down side to the visit was the $28 pp charge to do the sky walk, in my view only a tad over the top.

Whitewater Rafting Pickup and Surf Rafting - Exodus Adventures
We had an awesome day with our guide, Dave, and all of the Exodus gang on the river! Great fun, active, outdoor adventure with a super experienced & ultra friendly crew surrounded by breathtaking scenery. They took everyone’s safety extremely serious which was very much appreciated. What more could you ask for? We’re already talking about booking the 2-day rafting trip. Cannot recommend the trip or their team highly enough!!

Water by Nature Tasmania, Franklin River Rafting
This was an experience I'd been looking forward to for many years. It lived up to all expectations. The environment and its river is incomparable. Every time you pass through it (and for most of us it is once in a lifetime) it is a privilege. Action. Serenity. Physical demands. Fun! And in the hands of the Water by Nature crew, you know your tummy will be satisfied, you will learn loads and your safety will be number one. I went there to do a story for Wild magazine, and left deeply impressed. The guides were Amazonian women, all with a wicked sense of humour. In a family group, all the teenagers were specially cared for (and proved useful as youthful workhorses #smartthinking). Yes, I would do it again with WBN.
