I've never been here before and now I've been twice in one month. We weren't aware it's BYO until speaking to friends. The first time we went we had pasta. The second time we had the antipasto and pizza. The gnochi bolognaise has been my favourite dish so far.It's always good service here. The place is always busy so it has a good vibe and you need to book in advance. There is indoor and outdoor seating.

Perfect dough, fresh toppings and herbs on pizzas. Outstanding seafood pasta, up there with Lygon st Melbourne. Great wine and Cocktails. Very prompt and personal service. We’ll be back!!

Best Italian restaurant in Sydney. Wait staff were very friendly and helpful. Pasta alla vodka had amazing flavour and heat all round great experience will definitely be back

Haven't heard of this venue until I was invited to attend a lunch to celebrate a friend's First Holy Communion, what a nice surprise.I love the bright and spacious table and seating layout, we were allocated a table near the entry next to the windows and it was just perfect for brunch/lunch. I like the little touches such as live music - it definitely adds to the vibe!Staff was nice and accommodating, had an enjoyable time and meal overall. Happy to return some other time to try out other items on their menu.One tiny downside is that because its located among apartments parking can be challenging. Try and get there early to nab a parking spot on the street (if you're lucky enough).

This place was great for a dinner with the family. Had room to park our stroller inside and have some drinks and food. Very nice flavourful dishes which weren't too expensive and decent amount. Will be coming to eat Italian kitchen now compared to crinitis which only had the fresh fig salad we liked.

An overall rating of 73/100This is a great location and restaurant offers a great ambience for couples or families. Beware, parking is a bit of a nightmare but as this is outside the restaurant’s control, this did not factor in my scoring assessment.The service could definitely be improved; most staff appeared to not want to be there on a Friday night and when I asked to move tables (given seating near a fan on a cold evening), they did not tell me they could not move us. However the fan was turned off which was a nice gesture.In terms of the food, the standout was the mushroom and cheese pizza and the tiramisu. The pizza was really tasty, with unique types of mushrooms provided. Additionally the tiramisu was very good blue for money, as it was a slab fit for 2 people at least, and tasted DIVINE!However, the huge disappointment was the swimmer crab ravioli - we ordered two portions at $37 each and were quite disappointed. The dish offered no distinct flavour, the saltiness of the crab (one could still taste the salt water) overpowered the dish over and above the tomato blend that was meant to highlight the dish.The only positive was that the ravioli was well cooked.The croquettes were also not bad, and would recommend this dish for its uniqueness.I would consider a revisit and will probably go for pizza choices as the wood fired options were plentiful.A good experience

Wait staff were lovely. We were sat in the enclosed outside of the restaurant even though we had a booking. It became overly warm around the heater, but was necessary for the cold night. Cocktails were good. We really enjoyed the arancini and would definitely come back for it. The diavola pizza was yummy, the touch of honey was a pleasant surprise to the old classic. The pasta we had was nice but didn't blow us away in terms of flavour or portion (compared to the price) compared to some other Sydney Italian pasta joints but overall a great experience.

A good place for an informal meal in a nice area, at a reasonable price. We ordered the buffalo margherita pizza and the truffle tagliatelle. The pizza dough was excellent, but personally I prefer when the mozzarella is melt, whereas it was just added on top and still cold. As for the tagliatelle, the pasta was excellent and the sauce too, but maybe it could have done with a bit more truffle to enrich the taste.We also had some arancini which were nice, but served a bit late, after the mains.Finally, the crème caramel was interesting, but was not available when we went there.All in all it was satisfying and I will be back to try some different dishes.

Had a great night at this place. Food was very fresh and tasty. Service was fast and staff was friendly.Croquettes were delicious, red sauce was fresh and distinct, and pumpkin ravioli was tasty but a little sweet for me.Overall, truly enjoyed my night and might go back again.

We have very high expectations of the restaurant, located in Surry hill, hence we booked a dinner on Friday night for birthday celebration.First of all, the music is sooo loud in the restaurant, was very difficult to talk to each other.The pasta was under cooked, it was a bit raw still, the pizza was very very ‘wet’ and overly sweet. The pane Di casa was a bit dry but the flavour was ok.Suppli was not bad comparing with the rest dishes. Both texture and flavour was good .The customer services were good however we felt a bit rushed, they would clean table extremely quick and kinda feel like we can not take our time and just enjoy a date night.
