Went to Spring open day. Beautiful location with magnificent views of the hills. The ruins are being rebuilt, so are a construction site and fenced off. Shame we couldn't get closer, but understand the safety reasons. The site is privately owned now and only open a few times a year, so you can't just rock up. It is available for events, weddings etc. Check their website or Facebook page if you're wanting to go, to check when open.

I drove a group of ladies from Burnside there for a luncheon they were doing.It's such a beautiful place, now it's being restored.It's great to keep the history there.It's quiet and peaceful, on a hill, with amazing scenery.It was definitely worth the visit.
