Chelsea Yacht Club
We visited the Chelsea Yacht Club during their annual open day to try out sailing for the first time. All of us had fun and were delighted to meet many members of the club. There were many volunteers at the club who helped us with our maiden experience of sailing on a 1-on-1 basis. We got to also contribute with the basics - work the jib sail, operate the rudder to navigate the boat in a specific direction. The weather was good and the long beach" offers a stunning view of the ocean on a bright sunny day. Thanks to everyone at the club on Sunday

St George Sailing Club
What an incredible suprise!! The St George Sailing Club recently reopened and is well worth a visit for a meal, drink or even to take in the building / views!! The stunning building is etched over the water, with beautiful windows from floor to ceiling and wall to wall so more patrons get a view.Lighting, music, decor gorgeous! Staff were super friendly, pleasant and all had smiles! Food was fantastic, hot, good portion sizes and came out relatively fast.Highly recommend for a club meal (seemed family friendly too)!

Glenelg Yacht Club
The Glenelg Yacht Club is a great social club based conveniently at Glenelg. The members are a fantastic bunch of people of all ages and the club offers a variety of social outings and handy discounts with preferred suppliers on all things boating.I would highly recommend this club to anyone who has their sail or power boat moored at the Pat.

I'd previously given BYC a good review but after two recent rubbish experiences, I've disappointedly had to review my review! Firstly, and as an example, on a very recent Sunday music afternoon with the wonderful Tony, patrons encountered a very rude member of staff who showed an arrogant and unprofessional attitude. She refused to allow an outside door to be closed even though a strong, cold wind was chilling everyone inside! Her excuse? Management told me cos (sic) it's Covid rules". She refused to give her name yet claimed to be the Duty Manager as she leaned against an outside hot embers brazier
