My boat had a service history with this business since 2011 (boat was purchased brand new in 2010). When my boat broke down on the water at the end of 2020, this business wouldn't return my calls to look at the boat. Upon taking it to another business nearby, it was soon evident that worn parts were overlooked (eg. trim seals) in the last service. Disappointing when you pay large $$$ to get the boat serviced.

Can't recommend CQ Sailmakers enough!I had flown up to our boat at Kepell Bay Marina recently from Monday to Friday. Andrew was on time and collected our main, genoa, No 3 plus old main cover.At the time, Andrew believed he would get the main done before Friday only - he did not over promise. He assessed the sails and found ways to bring some life back into them.He kept me informed throughout the week on his progress.To my delight and surprise, he contacted me on Thursday, and mentioned everything was going well and he would deliver all sails back on Friday.When the boat is moved down to Brisbane, later in the year, Andrew will be contacted to provide a quote on a replacement genoa.

Reception ladies are awesome :) after sailing our yacht from Brisbane to Cairns we got to see what the majority of marinas are like on the east coast and this marina is one of the cheapest and live aboard friendly marinas we have stayed in :) look forward to returning next time!
