Kerian recently resored my late uncles 1970's Maton acoustic guitar.This guitar has had quite the journey and was extremely weathered.Kieran went well and truly above and beyond and obviously put so much love and care into the restoration.From restoring the worn and rotting timber in the neck, refretting, sanding back and clear coating warn timber, new tuning keys, new electric pickups and so many other detailed fixes. I can confidentiality say that Kerian really knows his way around a guitar resoration.I am so very happy with the results. Its truly a work of art.Thank you Kieran for bringing my guitar back to life.

That I made a guitar I absolutely love without prior woodworking experience is a testament to the skill, both in Lutherie and teaching, at the Sydney Branch of Australian Guitar Making School.Teachers and students alike were friendly, welcoming, easygoing and very encouraging.Rather than weekly classes I attended training in an intensive format, completing the build in 3 weeks. I highly recommend this option for anyone who lives out of commuting distance.The workshop is well resourced. I came away with a damn fine instrument in a short timeframe, as well as a bunch of new skills. This experience represents excellent value and it was a privilege to attend. Im A very happy customer.

Kieran replaced a nut on my Gibson Les Paul, very knowledgeable, excellent craftsmanship, definitely will be back if I need any work done on any of my guitars.

As a retired engineer with a love of guitars my daughter thought I should actually make one. Without her push I would probably have left the dream of doing that just a dream. But she bought me a starting package as a birthday present and I could not be a happier dad. Working with Andrew was a fantastic experience and he taught me so much. Working with guitar woods to create a finished guitar is something very special. From these woods, and with Andrew's help, you build the many components to make something you eventually hold in your hands and play, and it is unique and beautiful, and it sounds so good when you finally play it. This is a great thing to do. And with the help and knowledge provided by the school it is, I think, a certainty that anyone who wants to do this is going to achieve it.

I had a fantastic day with Nick and leant so much about how guitars are put together. Nick was patient and great at explaining everything. He happily agreed to make my cigar box 4 strings, not the usual 3, very much appreciated. A lovely bush setting out of town was nice too.I'd highly recommend the experience to anyone!Marty

We have used Brend for tuning our piano, moving the piano and servicing our guitars and every dealing we have had has been fantastic. The customer service and attention to detail has always left us feeling confident and happy. If we could give a higher rating we would!

I had a great weekend making a resonator guitar, and I would highly recommend this course to everyone. I have made a few Cigar Box Guitars on my own, and am reasonably familiar with what's it takes. But Nick was brilliant, and I learned sooooo much on the weekend which will stand me in good stead in the future.

I don't think there really is anything more satisfying in this life than building your own amazing guitar. It doesn't matter if you have never picked up a chisel or a plane before, or even if you already own some lovely instruments, it is about the experience and personal reward of building something truly amazing and absolutely unique. I look at my first guitar build and I still can't quite believe that I made it. The fact that the volume and tone easily beat my handmade Yamaha and Asturias guitars is an unexpected bonus. I take my hat off to Andrew, he is a most excellent tutor with the patience of a saint. If you have a guitar, but want something better, built to state of the art designs, or would just like to experience the satisfaction of creating it, then sign up for classes. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic service! I took a 79 Yamaha Studio Lord in for a set up and a pickup change. I loved the feel of the guitar when I received it used but now it is a weapon. I can't believe how sweet the neck pickup on the Yammy sounds now. I also took a strat in that I hadn't played in years. Brett set it up beautifully and even gave me a lesson on how the tremolo works. Blew my mind that I had been using it incorrectly for over a decade. Brett fixed some dents in the neck of the strat and cleaned it up like it was brand new. Really happy with both guitars and now can't figure out which one to pick up first. The only bad thing about Gaskett is now I'm eyeing of more ebay bargains to take in to get serviced! Fast turn around, i was expecting well over a week but it was only a few days. Even let me come in a pick up on a public holiday. Could not recommend a better guitar tech.
