Syokudo and Teishoku restaurant

A wonderful restaurant.Food is fresh and always greeted with a friendly hello by the owners.I highly recommend their Chicken Katsu Curry - hits the spot every time!

We arrived later in the evening near closing.Staff and service: 5/5.They were friendly and welcoming.Food: 3/5The ramen was salty, not typical Japanese ramen but expected for a Korean take on ramen. Sushi rice was a little tough instead of fluffy and salmon was tough to chew. I did appreciate the warm miso soup.The price was $36 for two meals matches the quality received. Good for a low budget dinner.

I just did an Uber Eats.Dumplings were smaller than piegon eggs and Gyoza was cold as an ice.

Totally worth going out of your way for. The ramen was almost overloaded and didn't have much broth, which is definitely not a complaint!

Love sushi and sashimi here.Sushi rice was nice and different to the other shop. Recommend to come and try. I will come back definitely.

High quality food and service! The meal sets are absolutely delicious and come with a wonderful range of side dishes. A little dessert is also included in the set, which is a nice way to complete the meal. The staff are very kind and friendly too. My friends and I are all very satisfied with our dining experience :-)

A great cost efficient restaurant, serves large portions at high quality. A regular restaurant to frequent weekly. The staff are attentive and full of positive energy, a great recommendation for a relaxing enjoyable lunch or dinner

Our first choice of Japanese eatery turned out to be closed, so the next closest option was Passion Sushi.Our order:* Lion King big roll, $14.40 (8pc) - avocado, panko prawn, crab, onion, mayonnaise* chicken katsu don meal set, $13.90* salmon bento, $14.90 - salmon nigiri x4, salmon sashimi x3, prawn gyoza x2, inari x2* salmon sashimi, $15 (10pc)* chicken katsu roll, $14.40 (8pc) - chicken katsu, avocado, mayonnaiseI'd normally order a meal but the boy decided to get the chicken katsu don meal set, which I knew he wouldn't be able to finish (ie I would be having some of it), so I thought I'd try one of the rolls. The Lion King roll was nice - good sized and pretty tasty. Having crab" in the description is a bit dubious though

I've been coming here regularly since it opened a few months ago and I'm consistently very impressed with their friendly service and of course their fresh and tasty meals. They also have a great range of affordable and vegetarian dishes (lunch specials and veggie/tofu options for most items).
