Jampa's Spirit of Tibet
The food is excellent. We had lamb cashew and a vegetable dish with coconut cream Tsarong Tsoma. Normally I prefer a meat dish but the vegetables were fantastic. We have been here several times and it not only has great food but good value at around $21 for a well sized portion and the rice is a good portion also.

Coming here for breakfast and coming out so full. I think they should be more generous on the lettuce, and if there’s a lemon slice for hoki fish it would be great. The portions are very generous though. Would come back again. Their dumplings are so so good.

Nepalese food was on the agenda this time and I hadn't been in Battery Point for a long time so going to Kathmandu Cuisine ticked both boxes. Finding parking around the area was a small challenge but that's the norm for the area. There's a very comfortable atmosphere within and the waitress was welcoming and possessed a very friendly service. For a small building it didn't feel cramped inside.I started off with vegetable Singada dish which was delicious and made me eager for the main. I went for the Dal Bhat Masu with chicken and loved the layout of the food and different flavours each portion gave me. I decided to compliment all of this with a drink of Sherpa beer. Although initially I thought that it may not be quite enough I found out that the meal was quite filling. It all cost around $45 which was very good value as the quality was very good.If you're in the mood for some Nepalese cuisine I would definitely recommend you try them.

Went for a nice dinner out for our wedding anniversary. It was a fairly quiet night and the chef/owner was the only one working. Couldn't believe how he did it. Meals came out in a timely manner and were delicious. Lovely man and beautiful food. I can't wait to go back.

We stumbled upon this place while looking for something to have for a dinner at a late hour. The place just appears out of blue. Takes me on a nostalgic trip back to Bhutan. The owner/chef was too good, found some time to have a chat with us, get to know us; he was working alone as well. The good was delicious and decently priced, would definitely come back again.

Tibet Kitchen
We were visiting the Blue Mountains and we booked to try this place as none of us have tried Tibetan food before. Unfortunately when we arrived they did not have any seats even though we had a reservation but the staff did move tables and chairs around to get us seated. The food took almost an hour to arrive: the momo was quite nice. The broth noodle soups were quite bland and there were barely any meat in it even though we ordered a beef soup. I did add some salt and vinegar to supplement the flavour. We also tried the hot tea, the milk tea is basically English breakfast with lots of milk and sugar, and another tea with salt in it which was a bit odd - may be an acquired taste. Overall the experience is okay. This is located in the heart of the Katoomba village near the train station and also reasonably priced, so I doubt they'd ever be out of customers, but personally I probably would not go back.

It was such tasty food - momos and noodles were delicious. And the owners Jimpa and Sonam were kind and so very welcoming.I'd certainly recommend coming here for a home cooked Tiberian meal! (And the chilli they make was so yummy - I bought some back!)

We had a nice dinner, food was alright but the service from staff Anjali was the best. Her smiling nature, attentiveness towards customers, made our dining experience truly exceptional. Definitely recommended.
