Travel clinic

A clinic for wealthy people only. They don't care that you don't have $90 to fork out for an initial consultation. The $20 price tag they advertise for low income people is a lie and is only after you do all the medicare work yourself. You need to have the ridiculously high amount of money to begin with. They clearly don't know or care what 'low income' actually means.

Our family have been coming here for years, however recently the practice doesn't seem respect appointment times, in recent times we've always had to wait around 15 minutes (which I understand can happen) however after waiting 50 minutes today and enquiring a few times with reception and still no doctor in sight, we walked out and are extremely disappointed with the service that was offered. We made an early appointment, turned up 5 minutes beforehand, and we're paying a premium at HH MP so would expect some level of service and care. What's the use of actually making an appointment?

Excellent customer service and practice. The doctors I have scene thus far all seem to be professional and caring. Super convenient to have a skin clinic attached also. So glad we found this practice.

If you suspect anything serious, do not go to this practice. I came here a year ago with quite obvious health issues. They did some tests and told me they were all clear, there was nothing they could do for me. They told me that my health issues were all in my head. Since then my health declined and I have just found out I was living in a house with toxic mould. It is a long and expensive recovery that could have been avoided with better help.

Very good experience with this Practice. Easy same day online booking. Friendly efficient reception staff. Seen by Dr on time. All questions answered in a professional manner. No negatives (apart from the fact that the surgery is up a flight of stairs which I wasn’t expecting - but wasn’t a problem).

My elderly mother is a patient at Victoria Point Medical center. On a number of occasions she has asked me to call reception for appointments because she cannot hold on for so long to speak to a human. I have found this center to be most inefficient. You need more staff at reception to help patients. Especially the elderly who have trouble hearing and have no understanding of computers.SHAME ON YOU . ITS NIT ONLY ABOUT PROFITS

Thanks Dr Marina, I had a terrible cough and she could hear that someone wasn’t right over the phone and urged me to come in straight away even when it was the end of the day for her. The treatment got the wheeze down after weeks of coughing within a few days. I am for ever greatful. Thank you for your care in making sure I was looked at on the spot.

Can’t seem to find an email to contact the clinic and also can’t cancel my appointment online. Big issue for people who become non verbal, hard of hearing, or with social anxiety. So now I have no way of letting them know I can’t make it to my appointment in time. Hopefully you guys might be able to do something about that and supply an email on the website after this or allow for online cancelations through health engine.

The doctors are beautiful and so helpful, I have been going for my 20+ years. And Catherine in Pathology is so nice and friendly. Couldn’t recommend a better GP.

Our family has consulted Dr Jodi Gostin for 20 years and always found her to be a wonderful Doctor who really listens, is down to earth, compassionate, practical and well informed. We have never felt rushed during a consultation, with Jodi taking the time and effort to answer our questions with clear explanations. Jodi has also always referred us to great specialists when required. On the rare occasions we have not been able to book with Jodi, we have been very happy with the services provided by other Airlie Womens Clinic Doctors. Highly recommend.
