Shark Bay World Heritage Discovery & Visitor Centre
We came by here since it was raining. We did stop by before to get some information regarding what sights to see but came back to do the Discovery Center. There are a few souvenirs in the shop too. They also have information regarding the status of the Francois Peron National Park. There is a small gallery on the left of the entrance which is free to enter and does have quite a few spectacular photographs of the area. There was also a 3D movie Fire on the Water" about the HMAS Sydney which was sad and informative. It ran every 30 minutes so you can easily wait for the next screening. The Discovery Center costs $11 for adults and $6 for children but it is a multiday pass so you are able to come back in at a later day

Ballina Visitor Information Centre
The Ballina visitors centre provides a wealth of information for both visitors and locals. The team were able to assist me in finding dog friendly beaches in the area and supplied me with a great what’s on flier that provided some fun filled activities for the week.

Balingup Visitor Centre
This visitors centre has fairly limited opening hours. I was in Balingup recently on a Saturday and the rest of the town was very busy, but the visitors centre was closed. Also, I’ve emailed them for info in the past which they didn’t respond to.

Mission Beach Visitor Information Centre
Helpful staff but my advice is don’t pay for any trips or activities in cash.I booked a scuba diving experience on the reef and payed in cash. Unfortunately the crew would not let me dive due to asthma, despite my holding an Open Water dive certificate. I received a partial refund from the cruise dive company but had to claim back the balance from the information centre. They will only refund in cash which as a tourist is ridiculous, I have asked them to send it to a charity but they are completely unresponsive. BE CAREFUL!

They feed the dolphins in the morning!3 times, first one is at 7.45am! It's super cute and the dolphins come quite close to you. It was a great experience! Emus walk around the park freely too!

Winton Wetlands
Great place to visit, a very surreal experience! Well worth going just before sunset to see the kangaroos having a drink but stay in your car or they will get spooked. It's a great place for astro photography too with very little ambient light.

Mount Magnet Visitor Centre
From the warm greeting on arrival to the wide range of exhibits on display, we really enjoyed our visit. The rock collection facinated the boys, the rabbit proof fence display and old machinery, us parents.
