Ropers Lookout
Great not too difficult hike. Can be done by people of all ages. While on our way back and forth, we saw several group of higher age group people(70+) doing the hike. There is bit of steps to climb towards the end. Put some mozzie repellent.

Short walk from car park. Went to try and see C2023 comet but clouded over. Really nice view to the north of Hanging Rock.

Tjaetaba Falls
Awesome little place not as popular as the bigger waterfalls in Litchfield but I think it’s one of the best and open for swimming during the wet season. An additional plus is the swimming holes are at the top of the waterfall so you get a wet edge or infinity pool effect

Hindmarsh Island Lookout
My family and I recently visited Hindmarsh Island during our Easter vacation and we were blown away by this hidden gem. It's a beautiful location that's well-connected to Goolwa, making it an excellent spot to stay while exploring the area. One of the highlights of our visit was exploring Goolwa Wharf and Murray Mouth, both of which are easily accessible from Hindmarsh Island. We loved taking in the beautiful scenery and soaking up the local culture. The area is also great for wildlife spotting, and we were lucky enough to see some unique bird species during our stay. One of the things we appreciated most about Hindmarsh Island was the peacefulness of the area. It's a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and just relax in nature. We enjoyed taking walks along the beach and exploring the local flora and fauna.Overall, we would highly recommend Hindmarsh Island to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful location to stay while exploring the Goolwa area. It's a true hidden gem that we were lucky enough to discover during our vacation. We can't wait to come back and explore more of the area!

Hindmarsh Island Lookout
Wendy from Hindmarsh Is Landcare group dedicated her morning to digging up pest bulbs which had invaded this lovely revegetated area. A gentle walking track allows visitors to enjoy the area.

Great views from up here of the Grampians, it was alittle hazy but always worth a look traveling through.
