Beautiful and modern restaurant with an outlook over the vineyards including a field of sunflowers. Tried the 3 courses at Essen and the food and wine was delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. Great way to showcase some of the boutique and smaller batch wineries that Barossa has to offer. A definite recommend. Dogs are allowed in the stunning outdoor area. There is also a delicatessen for more casual dining and a large size wine tasting area.

90% of the time I have been here the food taste great but the size for the price isn't.Simple fix is add a more chips, ordered a meal that was $25 - $28 and a Kids that was $12 and the only difference was half a dozen chips.Happy to pay the money and support local but not if I am leaving still feeling hungry and that my main was a glorified kids meal.I know the chef knows this is an issue as have heard the same complaint from other customers and also staff.

The wine discovery tasting was a great experience, knowledgeable staff with great explanation. The wines are up there for this region, and the curated Riesling is very different and delicious. Then the food from Nama was exceptional, one of the best digestation menus I have enjoyed. An Asian fusion cooked superbly, with delicious flavours. Come and enjoy this menu before they leave in March.

We had a damn fine pizza. There is only one size. A good size medium, but they will do a half in half, which is effectively two smalls. Well done and very tasty !!

We had a fantastic time! Bron was an excellent host and very knowledgable and passionate about the wines and local area. The wines were of course exceptional. We would highly recommend calling to make an appointment so you don’t miss out on this gem.

Dined here at a local Italian pizza restaurant and ordered the DOP pizza; a classic with San Marzano tomato sauce, fresh buffalo mozzarella, basil and EVO oil. The base was very thin but was still able to hold the toppings and the crust was soft with a pleasant chew to it. Tomato was sweet with a hint of tartness, and each slice had a large full bite of buffalo mozzarella; very tasty. Also had the Nutella calzone which was cooked well with enough oozing Nutella to go with the soft pizza dough crust; and the vanilla bean gelato paired well to balance the richness of the Nutella. Overall a delicious pizza; crust was not tough even till the last piece. Service was also great.
