We ordered the mixed plate which comes with chicken and lamb. The food was amazing overall. Meat was cooked really well and was tender and juicy. The tea was really good as well. Service is good but can be a bit annoying if you are seated in the room downstairs as we had to go up the stairs and find someone whenever we had any extra requests as the staff only came down one time for the order. We had to go up multiple times to ask for water, extra plates and spoons etc.Overall a fantastic place and would recommend.

The chicken broth served before the meal is really nice.If you are into subtle flavours in food then this would be a good place. It has really mild spicing. Haven't tried the lamb so would not be able to comment on that. Overall the service and atmosphere is pretty good.

The taste is from heaven. A unique melt-in-your-mouth lamb and chicken with oriental spices complemented by the oriental feel. We enjoyed the place, the food and the friendly staff.

Excellent food. Friendly staff. Amazing value for money. The place upstairs could use a bit of a renovation but otherwise its a great place for food.

Best food and excellent customer service.We entered there late night when they were about to close, it was the weekend and I'm pretty sure they had been very busy but they greeted us very nicely, especially the guy on the reception he was very polite and nice.Food was served within 10 minutes, and taste was amazing.Highly recommended, and I will visit again once I travel to Melbourne next time.

Absolutely delicious food. We had the shared platter between 3 people, came with mandi and 3 types of meat. Very generous serving, enough for 4 people at least. Complimentary soup was very delicious. The chicken was phenomenal, so succulent and tender. The Adeni tea at the end was perfect.

Lamb shank mandi and Chicken mandi was excellent. Great portion sizes and full of flavour. Also it was well worth the money! Would be nice if they can improve the decor of the restaurant. But would still give 5 stars just for the food.

We had a really great experience at this small and unassuming Yeminis restaurant. It was our first time trying Yeminis cuisine and while it's not the most inviting from the outside, we are so glad we chose to walk in. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious. The lamb and chicken were so incredibly tender and the rice had a beautiful flavour. Great value for what you get, the portions are very generous. Just make sure to bring cash!
